Center for Technological and Environmental Development

The Center for Technological and Environmental Development is a coordination dependent on the Services Department whose aim is to strengthen the scientific and technological foundations, generation, application, and transference of knowledge for testing, assessment, planning, the provision of services, continuous training, and innovation; in order to contribute to the improvement of the local economy by enhancing productive capacity and access to quality markets within the framework of sustainable development.

The Environmental Education and Conservation Program is one of the current programs of this Center, and it aims to promote educational and conservational activities within FACEN, so that the general population can become interested in and sensitive toward environmental issues and engage in conservation efforts.
